Best Roasted Pork of Kum Kee Chicken Rice 金记烧腊鸡饭

Today I am going to write about my favorite Siew Yok(烧肉) & Char Siew(叉烧)rice of Kum Kee Chicken Rice 金记烧腊鸡饭 at Kedai Kopi & Makanan Mooi Mooi (美美海鲜饭店) . Until now I still think it's the best roasted pork rice I 've ever had. FYI, I insist to visit Mooi Mooi at least once a month. ;-D Mooi Mooi is just next to the spectacular Thai 4-Face Buddha ( 泰国金刚四面佛堂). You are able to see the brown color Continental Condo from Mooi Mooi.
Usually the roasted pork is ready around 11am, we were a bit late today after sending my mother-in-law to Kota Damasara. We arrived there 1pm, as what you see from the pic, there's still long queue waiting for take away. ;-(
The boss was tight up with chopping job, chopping, chopping & chopping...none stop!

Coz almost 95% of the diners come for the best selling Siew Yok & Char Siew, gotta patient...patient...patient...
Finally, the yellowish rice cooked with original chicken stock was served to us, very appetising scent , Ummmm....*started to drool*
Followed by the Siew Yok & Char Siew........* more drool*
Look at the crispy Siew Yok, with such an amazing texture; as well as the semi "fat & lean" Char Siew (半肥瘦叉烧)that coated with sweet gluevy golden syrup; how can one ever resist this lovely porky!? ;-) Very satisfying lunch we had. *Burp * ;-)

If you are coming from outstation, the below map might assist you there...See you around.

Restoran Kong Leong 江隆茶室

Mr Ho highly recommended the stir fried pork intestine(宫保猪大肠) at Restoran Kong Leong (江隆茶室) Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. Since didn't feel like cooking, Moon and myself decided to give it a try.
We give a B+ for fried intestine coz both of us dun really appreciate pork large intestine due to mentality factor. ;-o For "pork intestine lover", this dish is worth given a try!! The gravy was thick, not too spicy, the texture was as soft as "chee Cheong fun" and the best part is we didnn't find any awful smell of pork intestine. RM9 for such big plate, fair price , isn"t it?

Beside the fried intestine, there are wide range of hawker stalls selling different type of food. The stir fried short-necked clam with soybean paste and chili, which is known as the "Guai Mei La-La"(怪味啦啦)from Dai Ka Sing Fried Seafood (大家成炒海鲜) is also something I would like to present to you, delicious!!If you want to have something more filling, then you may consider to hv a bowl of hot pepper pork viscera soup (胡椒猪杂汤), it served with white rice for RM6.50 per pax, it's best taken in a cold rainy day, yummy! yummy! This is the outlook of Restoran Kong Leong (江隆茶室) .It' s located on the opposite side of Maybank K-Link (shown as B below) along Jalan 12/116B. Daily business hour starts from 6pm onwards.
