Seremban Restoran Yi Poh 姨婆老鼠粉

Restoran Yi Poh !!? Yeah bingo, this is the Yi Poh I mentioned before! Famous for what!!!?? The Yi Poh Lou Syu Fan 姨婆老鼠粉. Or it is better known as Silver Needle Noodle 银针粉 in Hong Kong as Lou Syu Fan sounds like Rodenticide, make people think it's poisonous.

The Lou Syu Fan served here is very different from what you used to have in KL, it's long and looks more like Lai Fan 濑粉 or Udon, topped with minced meat and char siu 叉烧 and flavoured with dark soya sauce. What else is good? How about a bowl of hot and spicy pork 's innards which comprise crunchy pork's intestine and chewy pork's stomach, hot, hot, hot!Last but not least, the meat ball that made of pork's tendon, nicer texture compared to the usual meat ball.

P/S:. Well, think my post on Yi Poh Lou Syu Fan published at bad timing. Since the outbreak of Swine Flu, I believe people will reduce consumption of pork. ;-( Anyway, if you are a porky fan, you can always pay there a visit after the outbreak is settled down. ;-)
